Margaret Rodgers

Margaret’s journey with the path of yoga started 11 years ago as a way to take good care of herself. Like most western practitioners, it began with the body, but almost immediately, she started to recognize the mind, body, heart connection. Like the way the practice has the capacity to ground one in the present and uplift the spirit – creating a nourishing feeling of content.The practice created profound and deep shifts for Margaret and she noticed how it positively impacted her relationship with the world around her, and how it organically deepened her connections with the people in her life.¬† Naturally, curiosity took hold and she began to inquire more about yoga and started to delve deeper into its layers by attending workshops and eventually becoming a certified teacher. Margaret has received training in Akhanda Yoga (Prana Yoga Studio’s 200 hr YTT), Restorative Yoga, Lifestyle Meditation (Meditation for Kids and Teens), and Yoga for Teens (Donna Freeman’s Yoga In My School). She looks forward to ¬†sharing the practice in a fun, inclusive environment at That Yoga Place – a studio that has lovingly supported her journey.
