A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine.
These areas are especially rich in connective tissues.
The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. With that in mind, we now add massage.
A massage specially developed to enhance the Yin posture, where you can really relax and connect with your body, mind, and breath.
With the combination of the stretch, massage, soft music, and low lights you can expect to have a very relaxing and restorative class.
This class is suitable for all levels of practice and is a wonderful complement to any lifestyle.
